Rampigada Santa: the climb is back in an online version

The 2021 edition of the Rampigada Santa, the walking and cycling time trial of the city steep slope of Scala Santa, will be held exclusively online.

The Rampigada Santa, the uphill time trial of Scala Santa on foot or by bicycle, also felt the Covid effect in 2021, just like the Olympics of Clanfe, the other major event organized by the Spiz Social Promotion Association.

Before being a competition between sportspeople, the Rampigada Santa is in fact a great popular festival that involves many people in two days dedicated to sustainable mobility and the rediscovery of traditions.

However, the time is not yet ripe for concerts and gatherings along the street and in the Obelisk square.

In addition, Scala Santa is closed to transit due to work on its precious porphyry, so the organizers have decided to move everything online again.

Participants can thus create short videos of up to 30 seconds on any type of climb, spicing it up with a strong dose of humor and fun, but above all letting the world know about their climb.

Victory, in the social era, will be established by likes.

So this is the recipe to participate:

1. Filming yourself while walking or cycling up a hill.

2. Register on the website www.spiz.it

3. Send the video to the facebook page “Rampigada Santa”

4. Get as many people to vote as possible.
